Transport Management Consultants Ltd. offers a full analysis of your company vehicles tachograph charts. You are no doubt aware of the importance of keeping accurate driver hours records - however when your drivers leave you with a pile of charts at the end of the week how sure are you that they have complied with the regulation. Although you need your drivers to comply with the necessary regulations, checking they have done so can be very time consuming. That is we can step in.
Magnified Tachograph Infringements
At Transport Management Consultants we examine many thousands of tachograph charts every year. Below are examples of some faults found. These are usually due to the chart being used for two consecutive days. Sometimes they are caused by a deliberant driver infringement. Whichever is the case we will inform the operator and issue an infringement notice to the driver on their behalf.

There is a strong possibility that your drivers, who are your responsibility, are breaking the law. Transport Management Consultants Ltd. took a sample of our clients charts from the last quarter of last year and noted the Top 5 Tachograph Infringements. These proved to be:
| Infringement |
Percentage |
| Chart errors, usually centre field |
88.8 |
| Insufficient break |
10.4 |
| Weekly rest due after 6 daily driving periods |
0.4 |
| No daily rest in 24 hr. period |
0.3 |
| Daily driving over daily driving limit |
0.2 |
Although our driver and vehicle related training can help reduce such infringements below we have reproduced a tachograph chart centre field. Any chart completed in such a way will allow your drivers to pass any roadside stops etc.
